Road to Jia CURATED 2026

Ong Cen Kuang took  part of Road to Jia CURATED – Tokyo Edition, an international prelude to Jia CURATED 2026. Held in the heart of Shibuya at (PLACE) by method, the exhibition brings Indonesian design into dialogue with Japan, opening a space for meaningful cultural exchange.

We present our exploration of material, form, and craftsmanship, rooted in Indonesian sensibilities yet shaped through a contemporary lens. The exhibition gathers nine Indonesian studios, united by the spirit of Gotong Royong, reflecting a shared approach to collaboration, cultural continuity, and innovation within a global design context.

Our founder Budiman Ong  shared his  perspectives alongside Shi Kai Tseng and Jin Kuramoto in the 360° Design Dialogues, bridging distinct Asian design voices through conversation and exchange.
