At Jia CURATED 2026, OCK unveils Janur, the atelier's first outdoor lighting collection, within a collaborative presentation alongside Tirtha  Bali. Bringing together lighting, craftsmanship, and hospitality, the shared installation invites visitors to experience OCK's latest work while enjoying a curated beverage selection by Tirtha  Bali. More than a meeting of two brands, the collaboration creates an immersive environment where light, design, nature, and meaningful encounters naturally converge.

Responding to Jia CURATED 2026's theme, Nature Weave, the installation embraces a thoughtful approach to sustainability. Rather than constructing an exhibition booth that would be dismantled after the event, OCK chose to repurpose existing pieces with enduring value. At the heart of the installation is A Walk in the Forest, a sculptural modular bar originally designed by OCK for Tirtha  Bali over a decade ago. The seating, created in collaboration with Urecell Living, has also been thoughtfully reused from a previous Jia CURATED event. By reimagining these existing elements instead of producing new temporary structures.

The installation showcases Janur, the latest chapter in OCK's iconic Alur Collection and the atelier's first outdoor lighting series. Inspired by the graceful silhouette of the Balinese penjor, Janur extends OCK's eighteen-year exploration of zipper as a sculptural lighting material into outdoor settings. Handcrafted from layers of white zipper and paired with elegantly arched brass structures, the collection transforms an unexpected material into lighting that is both sculptural and resilient. Presented within Jia CURATED, Janur reflects OCK's enduring commitment to material exploration, craftsmanship, and the emotional qualities of light.

Complementing the installation is A Walk in the Forest, the signature modular bar designed by OCK for Tirtha  Bali. The bar draws inspiration from the rich tradition of Asian layered art—from Japanese paper cutting and Chinese masks to Indonesia's wayang kulit. Through laser-cut metal panels, LED illumination, and layered silhouettes of forests, rivers, mountains, and wildlife, the piece transforms a functional bar into a sculptural landscape. Reimagined for Jia CURATED, it serves as the centrepiece of Tirtha Uluwatu Bali's beverage experience, reinforcing the exhibition's shared vision of craftsmanship, storytelling, sustainability, and immersive design.
