Ong Cen Kuang returned to Jia CURATED, held from August 14–18, 2025.
Inspired by forest mushrooms and countless spores, this year’s installation, Siklus, is expressed through thousands of black tassels and hundreds of 7-meter-long threads forming cascading curtains. Siklus means “Cycle”—a journey that begins with humble origins, unfolds along different paths, and eventually returns to the start.
At this event, Ong Cen Kuang also introduced the newest collection, Jamur. The Jamur Collection offers an interactive experience: each pendant begins as a carefully crafted base of hammered copper and woven copper wire—an ideal material for its flexibility, allowing it to be reshaped with ease. From there, the final form is left in your hands, inviting creativity and personal choices to shape its outcome.
